ASA publishes guidance for dating services
The ODA welcomes the guidance for dating services recently published by the Advertising Standards Authority.
Regulation might, on occasion, feel a barrier to creative innovative advertising and marketing. But it need not be, and it is clearly a help to businesses to have as much understanding as possible of where regulators are likely to draw on material that might offend or mislead. No-one wants that reaction. In the words of another advertising campaign “ every little (bit of clarity) helps.”
