ODA Appoint New Chief Executive
The ODA is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive. George Kidd will resume his role as Chief Executive in April 2018.
George Kidd helped establish the ODA in 2013 and was its first Chief Executive. He moved on from the ODA in September 2015 to take an executive role promoting responsibility in the gambling sector. In addition to these roles George has been Chief Executive of The Phone-paid Services Authority, a board member of the Fundraising Regulator and was a Director at the Cabinet Office. He chairs the Direct Marketing Commission.
George replaces Andrew McClelland who left the ODA at the end of February 2018.
In announcing the appointment, ODA Chairman, Duncan Cunningham said:
"The ODA Board are delighted to welcome back George Kidd. He played a key role in creating the ODA, and in giving the online dating industry a unique presence in the UK. Ensuring that our industry has a representative voice, while building user trust in our services are key to our role moving forward and strengthening our relationships with industry and stakeholders."
George Kidd said:
